Editorial standards

These standards keep MyVisaRoutes as general information only — the same facts for everyone — and make it clear how we check and correct them.

Information, not immigration advice. We do not assess individual cases or predict decisions.

What we publish

  • Published minimum requirements, fees and related facts taken from official government pages on each country's allowlisted domains.
  • Exact quotes on screening facts, checked against the official page text where our named checker can read it.
  • The date each figure was last checked, and a check mark when a figure is secondary, blocked, or overdue for a re-check.
  • The same comparison for every visitor with the same answers: free check, free shortlist PDF, and paid Full Report.

What we never do

  • Give immigration advice about your case, or recommend which visa to choose.
  • Predict approval, promise outcomes, or rank routes as personal recommendations.
  • Fill in applications, check documents, or contact governments or employers for you.
  • Use agents' sites, forums or social media as the source for a fee or requirement figure.
  • Invent missing amounts: if a figure is not on an official page we have checked, we say so or mark it for confirmation.

How we verify

Figures are stored with a source URL, source type and checked-on date. Screening facts require a word-for-word quote from the official page. Before a change goes live, Israr Ul Haq Awan (founder and editor) reviews it against the official page. The full process is on How we check information. Live counts are on Data sources.

Paid reports

The Full Report and corridor packs are built in your browser from the same published data as the free check. They are personalised mechanically from your quiz answers; they are not a review of your documents or a prediction. If we correct a figure that affects a report you bought, we re-issue it free. See pricing and the refund policy.

How to report an error

Email [email protected] with the page URL and, if you can, the official page that shows the right figure. We aim to review every report within 5 working days. Significant corrections appear on the corrections log.
